My first reaction was that the price is fair, and after seeing how much my kids actually use it, I still feel that way. No surprise charges or weird extra fees so far, so I’m happy with it.

I tried a few of the Kids Discover printables for my kids, and they were useful for keeping them busy. The topics were simple enough for them to follow, and the pages printed nicely without looking messy. I will say, after I paid I had that moment of wondering if it was actually going to be worth it, so I was a little skeptical at first. Some of the activities did feel kind of short, and I wish each set had a bit more to do. But in the end it saved me time, and the kids actually worked on them without too much complaining.

Tried Kids Discover for lesson planning, but the teacher resources didn’t do much for me. A lot felt too basic, and I still ended up making most materials myself. Just wasn’t worth it for my classroom

When I tried using the interactive lessons, they felt really buggy. My clicks would lag, and the quizzes froze on me a lot, which made it hard to stay focused and actually get through the material.

There’s definitely good info on the site, but actually finding it was kind of a pain. The menus feel a little all over the place, and I ended up clicking around way more than I wanted to. The search wasn’t super helpful either. It’s not awful or anything, just frustrating to use.

At first, my students were into it because the topics were interesting and easy to get into. After a while though, some of them started getting bored, so it didn’t hold their attention the whole time. I also wasn’t thrilled that the terms seemed to change along the way, which made the whole thing feel a bit more frustrating than it needed to be.

I picked this up for my kid thinking it would be a good fit for school practice, but it didn’t really match what I expected. The reading level felt kind of inconsistent, one page would be way too challenging, and then the next would be so simple it felt pointless. It made it harder to use than I thought it would be, especially for homework or extra practice. We tried it for a bit, but ended up setting it aside quickly.

My 9-year-old has been enjoying the articles, and they feel appropriate for his age. Some of the topics might be a bit too simple for older kids, but overall it’s useful without feeling too babyish. The whole process was easy too, which I definitely appreciated.

My snap judgment was that the colors are really fun and it looks nice right away. But after a second, the layout felt a little busy and cluttered to me.

I was trying to update my account settings right when I actually needed everything to work, and of course it turned into a hassle. I couldn’t even manage my account properly, which was super frustrating and poorly timed

It just didn’t line up with the standards we’re supposed to follow, so it wasn’t a great match for our curriculum lol.

I expected more from a kids site, especially one we were hoping to use for homework help. The layout and pictures are nice, but once my 9 year old started reading, a lot of the articles felt really thin and too basic.
Some pages seemed like they barely touched the topic before moving on, which was frustrating because it feels preventable with a little more detail. If the content stays this shallow, I don’t think it’s worth paying for...

I waited a few days to hear back and didn’t get much of an answer. Support was kinda just no help, felt like I was left hanging

We’ve been using Kids Discover for a bit, and overall it’s easy to get around. My kid can usually find topics without me hovering too much, and the pages load fine on our end. I can see why other families might like it, especially for quick browsing or homework-type stuff.
That said, a few parts feel a little cluttered, and I do wish the search worked better. Sometimes we have to try a couple different words before the right article shows up, which gets a bit annoying. It’s definitely not a bad resource, but I’d be interested to know if other parents have found a smoother way to use it.

So... my subscription renewed without any issues, and when I decided to cancel later, it was actually straightforward. No weird runaround or hassle, which I appreciated.

I haven’t checked out every single section, so I can’t say for sure how deep it all goes, but from what we’ve used, Kids Discover has a really nice variety. My kids were able to find stuff on history, animals, space, and different cultures easily, which was great. Some parts felt like they could use a little more detail, but overall it’s been good for keeping them curious and interested.

I got the subscription for my kids, and honestly... it’s been really worth it!! There’s a ton for them to read, and the best part is, they actually use it!!! So yeah, no regrets here at all..

I was expecting this to make lesson planning a lot quicker, but it still feels like it takes forever to put everything together. It’s not terrible, just not the time-saver I thought it would be...

I kept trying to use the site, but pages would freeze, videos wouldn’t load, and I’d randomly get kicked out of my login. I even went through the extra hassle of trying a different browser, clearing stuff, and starting over, but it was the same mess. felt like way too much work just to use a basic site. Not worth the headache
